Since you're going to all this effort, why not make it a constitutional amendment and give it the extra protection?

It is a much higher threshold of signatures that we would need to collect for two.

If Senator Morfeld wins the primary election for a law enforcement position, would it be a conflict of interest to campaign for something that's currently illegal?

No. County attorneys and prosecutors frequently advocate for policy at the capitol to legalize issues or criminalize issues.

They even have their own association that leads the charge on those efforts.

How do people find out what businesses have petitions?

Hi Senators, I saw that Snoop D-O Double G was here and talked to some of the folks that were organizing the petition. Did he seem open at all to giving money towards this? It's not like he doesn't have it lol

Why do you guys think people aren't signing the petitions this go around? Last go aorund you got the signatures needed.

I know it's baby steps guys, but have there been any thoughts on trying to get recreational on the ballot at all?

Looking back when this campaign gathered enough signatures to appear on the ballot, but was derailed by the last second court challenge, has that had any effect positively or negatively on this year’s ballot drive?
