What if the partner sites would waive the admission to a Bus on Us grant recipient.
Diana Staresinic-Deane - Franklin Co Historical Society
31:53
Would FFNHA consider a grant program to provide support to museums for educational coordination? We don't have quite enough need to hire an actual full or part-time educational coordinator, but we would like help from someone with skills in education to help us set up programs that we can then carry out.

The Watkins worked with FFNHA and other historic sites in Douglas County on an NEH grant to develop a lesson plan template. We could find a way to share that with partners and help them learn to use it.

This is something to add to the CRM about the partners: admission prices and whether they offer "in Kind" on the admission price with the Bus on Us grants. For example the Baxter Springs Museum does not charge an admission fee.

The March Meeting would be an opportunity to begin the process of mentorship or collaboration between sites--sites helping sites. I really want to establish this for the partners.

Super excited to see FFNHA reinvigorated! We might be able to host sometime next year (we were trying to schedule this in 2020 but...pandemic). I need to get going, but good to see all of you! Welcome, Lucinda!
