Virtual journal The link below is on slide share and can be downloaded easily from there. To download, you will need to scroll down and click on 'download'. It is editable once downloaded as a PDF so they can type in their responses during the conference. To download it, one needs to sign up for a free SlideShare account or log in via LinkedIn. I believe it needs to be downloaded on a computer and not a mobile device (you can view it on a mobile device).

Such bravery and inspiration - thank you for sharing Lilly. I've been in a long-distance abusive relationship but it was mental abuse and controlling behaviour. I was also accepting of this at the start as I loved the man and it took about a year for me to realise that it was his fault and not mine and that I deserved better. It was after attending another of Sam's events in London last year and opening up to the people in my group that I woke up and became brave enough to leave him and regain my self respect. So a huge thank you to Sam and the people who were part of my group on that day.

Love the emotion wheel! Caution on presumptive emotion/illness connection: my debilitating fatigue and headaches (deemed psychosomatic by my NYC doctor after returning from Uganda) were actually the result of an untreated low-density malaria infection and schistosomiais/bilharzia. I now have post-infectious ME/CFS immune dysregulation & neuroinflammation with POTS.

Thank you so much - I found this so helpful. The dropping my emotional baggage & that "overwhelmed" is a choice. I experienced 2 traumas near simultaneously, I was bullied at work terribly for being disabled & abused by a partner - this was 3 years ago now. I use so much energy ruminating on events, with sadness, fear, anxiety & anger. I feel so inspired and this has come at a perfect time alongside my CBT to recover from anxiety/trauma.

I'm a multipotentialite, so figuring out the best path is difficult. I get depressed if I'm just trudging through my days. The fact remains, I have to pay off my latest student loan that has NOT resulted in a paying job. I'm working toward creating a business - again - so financial aspects are important. I hope my ideas reach others sooner rather than later. I've been working hard for years. I need that 'it just finally clicked' moment in life.

other way around for me. all my parents wanted me to do was get married to a man who would support me, and have kids. and not to go into higher education because girls shouldn't. so I married my first boyfriend aged 21, but divorced aged 31, and became single parent to girls aged 3 and 5. then I grew up, supported my girls, developed my career - and now I learn my most important lessons from them. they're now 26 and 27 and they're my role models!

People keep asking me if my daughter (aged 29) has a boyfriend and I always tell them why does she need a boyfriend to make something of her life? I raised her alone from age 7 after my husband cheated on me and we got divorced. At the time I went into higher education whilst working part time as a shelf stacker and looking after my daughter who'd had health problems since the age of 18 months. I worked my socks off to get a good career so that I could afford to feed and clothe my daughter and give her a good example of how to face up to hardships in life. Last year at the age of 28 she moved to London to start a new career as a content writer and since then she has had two promotions and is now Deputy Head of her department. She doesn't want or need a man in her life right now as she is focused on her career. The words she told me last week made me cry "Mum, it's down to you that I am where I am now as I know you have to work hard to get where you want in life and you don't need a man to do it."
