I can attend both. I would like to drive
I can go on the 9/18 tour. I'd like to drive.
I can do both but would prefer Santiam Canyon as I live out that way. I would like to drive myself.
I'm a maybe for NM and a yes for Santiam. Prefer driving myself.
I can do both. Prefer to drive. Can carpool if anyone lives in S. Salem.
I will not be able to go on the 18th. Will check on my schedule for the 22.
I will not be able to go to either.
Tours are optional. We will take notes and pictures and share at the next meeting
I agree phasing is a big deal with school work and can be costly depending on what is decided on.
can't see the bottom
Do we know what the AVG assessed value of homes are in the Gervais SD is?
At the risk of showing my math ineptitude... these rates are per $1000, so a $100K house at $2.00 levy would be $2x 100 ($200) wouldn't it?
The calculation is $100,000 X 2% = $2,000
so it's actually $2 per $100 dollars AV.
I believe head start spent 1.5 million for remodel
What’s the total amount the district can get from the state?
$4 m for OSCIM
$2.5 m for each seismic upgrade
only elementary and high school can get seismic
Dandy, I think you mentioned this earlier, but it looks like if we are going to ask taxpayers to approve one of the bond packages you showed earlier (13 million, 15 million…) that that doesn’t even cover plan A for any of our options. So it looks like we need to really prioritize what needs to happen for each option A
If we adjust the numbers for the middle school, I think you will see that the numbers become much better or doable. The high school won't get everything. It could be a phased approach.
Tracy is correct, it would be $2 X $100 on a $100,000 home, for $200 extra paid. Much less.
Well, that is much better news!
Sorry, I was looking at it as a percent not dollar.
I am looking forward to seeing the other buildings and getting numbers for prefab buildings. They really can be made to look good. I think having those numbers will really help everyone think creatively within our budget.
I think we can look at some bigger bond amounts.
Agreed, The voters have to understand what they are getting and how much it is going to cost them.
What are the chances of in person at some point?
