There are additional votes coming in by the Chat - would likely be wise to ask for the vote verbally as well.

Given the craziness in the world over the past 18 months, the fact that the CSIA leadership has kept the lights on and the doors open is tremendous.

As long as there is a connection between National and the regional boards, "rising tides raises all boats" remains valid.

What fight??
Laura Richards
03:53:35
Hey tough to volunteer these days
AJ LEEMING
03:53:44
As a past board member, current board member, and committee member - I have addressed concerns. I think this summation of being "in the fight" vs a "critic" is exceptionally unfair.
Scott Bailey
03:55:44
Thank you Otto. As a former Alberta Region chair, I too support all of the feedback shared. I do not view dialogue about our direction as a fight, and I commend all volunteers past and present. One point of feedback that I would like to re-emphasize is that a strategic plan should include key performance indicators and measures of success (e.g. we will demonstrate commitment to EDI by committing to a gender-equal Interski Team, and we will establish new committees to meaningfully take steps towards Truth and Reconciliation and Inclusion, drawing on experts and researchers within and beyond the organization).
Chris Maxemuck
03:57:01
3 points I personally try to strive for : #Encourage #Inspire #Educate
Laura Richards
03:58:39
Yes we all age waiting for a decision. Get worried. Move faster.
AJ LEEMING
03:59:06
There is no FIGHT in an organization such as this. There is dialogue, feedback, and disagreement... these build better plans, and consensus over time. Fighting, implies sides. It implies a winner. Viewing any feedback, whether you agree with it or not as 'negative' is not supporting long term growth for the organization. Embrace feedback, try to understand it, share ideas, and take steps forward together. It doesn't need to be fast. It needs to be right.
Miranda Sorensen

Scott Bailey

I would like my comment addressed as a question. Why does the strategic plan not include any measurement metrics or goals?
Scott Bailey
