Who can see your viewing activity?
Jim, can you address what is happening to our trees in town especially along Broad st. We seem to have lost many large tress in the last few years
Thanks for the presentation, Jim. Question: who is the current tree warden for Windsor?
questions: is it better to plant one tree or should we really be planting a grove??
How does the Connecticut-wide tree planting effort compare to Windsor? Is there anything you would like to see done at the state level to better prepare CT for the effects of climate change?
In the brown areas, where there is unused parking, can we plant trees as a grove? The tarmac will absorb heat & effect the trees so perhaps grass should also be planted?
I have been wanting to ask a very rich person for a contribution for trees. WHICH variety or varieties are best for global warming?
Name spelling, please for tree warden?
We cannot limit ourselves to Windsor since we are effected by other states
Thanks Jim for that answer. Can you tell us which are the best trees to plant with the advance of Climate Change?
We have bag worms here now. I intend to write something up about this. any input Jim? thank you thank you.
so we should plant more than one
Mile Giacomazzi, Tree Warden
Do you recommend planting trees native to our area (as opposed to bringing in new species)? What trees would you recommend planting?
Mike not Mile
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Jim.
When do you know when it's time to take down a tree? I have couple that are about 60 or 70 feet tall and don't look so great.
That was my question Jim!
how do we make sure trees are included in town plans like the road diet?
sorry. rather than grass should be wild local native plants
what types of trees can we plant in parking lots to reduce urban heat sinks
Weeping Willow is my favorite tree. :)
but fon’t willows have shallow roots and easily come down in high winds
so service berries, native to new England, would be great berry trees to grow?
looking for a tree to replace an old maple in full sun that will not grow to tall and block solar panels
Good question Liz. I want to know too.
Jim remembers the trees he has put in better than I remember stuff about my kids!
Great job, Jim. Thanks so much.
Thank you Jim! You are a wealth of Knowledge!
