50:06
Hi from Britannia Winter Trail! :)
Connie D.

Detailed information on the 2021 Budget: https://ottawa.ca/en/city-hall/budget/detailed-information-2021-budgetNew Official Plan: https://engage.ottawa.ca/the-new-official-plan
Tricia Ross
58:25
Where does Britannia Woods fall into the transect?
Tricia Ross
58:31
Inner or outer urban?
Alex Cullen Belltown Neighbours Assoc.
58:43
Would be outer urban.
Tricia Ross
58:51
Thanks Alex
Simon (QTN.ca)
59:18
odd division that belltown is in outer urban given the placement to existing infrastructure
Connie D.
59:47
More information on 100 Bayshore: https://devapps.ottawa.ca/en/applications/__BP8RT8/details
Don
59:55
613: six rooms of which 3 are bedrooms.... the point being that is is more compact than the average residence?
Jill @ ISN
01:00:43
Will there be affordable housing within those towers?
Tricia Ross
01:01:07
Is it 56 units of affordable housing?
Tricia Ross
01:01:18
Oh ok
Beth Shepherd
01:01:30
Isn’t Britannia Village classified as flood plane? If it is it can’t be intensified.
Alex Cullen Belltown Neighbours Assoc.
01:02:23
Sorry folks - I have to go. From Belltown (between Britannia Park & Andrew Haydon Park) our big issue is the re-build of the NCC MUP bordering the Ottawa River to meet the 1-100 year floodplain - in 2121.
shelley r (she her)
01:03:20
so is 100 Bayshore all rental?
Tricia Ross
01:03:54
When will more information be available about the 613 housing units? Ie where they will be located etc.
marie
01:04:04
What was the contaminant found at Carlingwood Mall former Sears location, and what remediation measures were taken to make it safe?
Kirsten Gunderson
01:04:16
Is the work at Britannia Beach complete?
Kevin Brewer (CBLCA)
01:04:27
what kind of improvements to 100 Bayshore for street level appeal are you considering?
Andy Church
01:04:28
The 60% intensification target…does this imply that a street with 10 dwelling should expect to see it grow to 16? Will the city cap the street after that? By cap, I mean severing lots and building more units.
Trudy
01:05:14
Does 100 Bayshore comply with 613?
John Wert
01:06:21
Will the 100 Bayshore Towers be all rental units
Tracy B
01:06:48
any plans for the increase that there will be in traffic in the area? Pre-Covid the traffic was already pretty busy around the mall particularly at peak shopping times. all day on the weekends for example.
Simon (QTN.ca)
01:08:42
is the city going to continue to zone intensification using a radius of "proximity to transit" rather than the actual distance it takes somebody to get there using the city's infrastructure (our ward is primarily only served by NCC paths)
Simon (QTN.ca)
01:09:46
I know many excellent GIS colleagues at the city that can probably help :)
Kirsten Gunderson
01:10:28

Jill @ ISN

I recognize the work on Pinecrest overpass must be completed. Can someone raise awareness with crews that their signage needs to be installed and removed when access is impacted or not. There have been occasions where I have had to cross Pinecrest mid block because work was underway but there were no signs in place. At other times the signs are up but there are NO work crews there. The signed need to be moved off sidewalk at completion of work, as this ein mobility devices can’t maneuver around them Thank!
Tracy B
01:37:33
Thanks for your advocacy Jill. Very relevant to all us who live in the area.
Peter Rapson
01:39:01
Can you enlighten us on the development of berms in and around Connaught Park?
Jill @ ISN
01:40:56
Has a secondary egress plan been put in place. Recently there was a fire in around Connaught dig and there were alot of emergency vehicles. It made us (QTN CA) discuss ho two get out in an emergency once that dig begins
Kirsten Gunderson
01:41:19
Thank you Jill. It is an issue.
