my mint are growing tall with purple flowers, does it mean it is coming to an end? My mint loves to grow under trees and does it deter insects and pests? Thanks.

Thanks Mary Jane, Mint is a ‘perennial plant’ so although it will die back at a point in the year (after flowering) it will continue to come back year in year out
