Few days ago Yair Lapid said that when he is Prime Minister he will not talk or negotiate with Palestinians. He is one of the "more moderate" israeli policy makers. So you are proposing to talk to to work toward peace?
Rochelle Cleaver
39:45
Well then maybe he will not be prime minister.
Gadi Baltiansky
41:27
I don't know any Israeli Prime Minister who kept his word on this issue
Asim Altamimi
45:10
What would give Palestinians guarantees that Israel will not take advantage of Palestinians?
lawrence wilkerson
45:56
How is Hamas represented within the Palestinian voting bloc? Did I miss that previously?
Rochelle Cleaver
46:34
Hamas had 1/3 of the voting bloc.
Rochelle Cleaver
48:33
We are starting form now, not years previously
Jake Javanshir

Hamas a few years ago offered a few time through intermediaris to negotiate peace, Isreal didn't even pissed on it. Israel wants Gaza just the way it is. Using it for many advanteges.

Israel never wanted genuine peace, they all through the years wanted to take and more land. If there is peace, theft of land can not continue.
Len Bennett
01:00:42
Israel is a liberal democracy.
Dan Tennant-Ralphs (Madrid)
01:00:54
Salaam shalom from Madrid, this is a most interesting propsal. Thank you Josef and crew, peace 🙏
Rochelle Cleaver
01:01:58
I disagree. Jews have had over 6,000 years of fighting. What they most want is peace, more than any other country. In fact, Israel, since 1967 has always wanted to trade land for peace.
Jake Javanshir
01:02:46
Israel is a liberal democracy for Jews only, not for the 22% Palestinians inside Israel
Rochelle Cleaver
01:02:49
The Palestinians are losing land because they will not give peace.

the wall is there already
Rochelle Cleaver
01:09:44
In 1967 even though the agreement was good, Arafat could not agree to it because the Palestinians are not capable o governing themselves. That is hwy Hamas tells them what to do and today they are still not capable of sewting up a govt by themselves. That is hy there dnnot be a 2 state solutiom.

This comment is part of the blame game. peace seeking people must refrain from the blame game and find opportunity to be part of the solution. I am convinced that our children are the future of peace because they are becoming spiritual in the true sense of being.

Secular or not, the individual can practice their religion of choice to the fullest.
Rochelle Cleaver
01:16:36
Yes and Yes. The children are the future. The seniors have the experience so they hopefully will not repeat the mistakes of the past. But the young people are the future.

A two state solution hasn't worked for over 50 years. So perhaps let's now try a one-state solution.
