Based on the excel calculation, Districts DON”T have to verify if the non-public low income student resides in the Districts Title I Boundary, correct?
Meghan Deutsch
30:10
For ESSER Non-public - So if we have students that reside outside our boundaries, are we just automatically not counting them? OR are we supposed to determine if they reside in a Title I boundary of the District they reside in?
Nazie Mohajeri-Nelson
30:18
As an FYI - you fill in the yellow cells and the calculator will calculate the rest of the numbers for you.

For ESSER, if we are using funds for cleaning services, not supplies, the CDE object code is 0420 - but that object code is not available in the drop down section of the application. Should we use 0300 purchased services or 0500 other purchased services? If we use the 0420 in our G/L will that cause issues with the request for funds?
Steven Kaleda
37:46
The coding will not affect or cause issues for the request for funds however
Laura Gorman
39:11
The same is for software licensing -- we use 0695, but in the application we chose 0600 and just noted it in the description so that the review could see the budget is not all supplies
Ann Marie Hodge
39:34
so please explain what is the best distinction between 0300 and 0500
Laura Gorman
40:20
Thank you
Greg Fieth

Ann Marie Hodge

Very helpful, thank you for clarifying!
Jeremy Meredith
41:28
Yes, I was just about to say consultants are often coded as 0300
Patricia Reitwiesner
41:35
What if any documentation do we need for NPS' Native American students? 506 forms or ??
Barb Vassis
41:36
0300 the specialist providing the service matters, 0500 the service is more generic and could be provided by any provider (postage, printing)
Meghan Deutsch
42:11
506 - is the official designation for native American and used in Title VI
Patricia Reitwiesner
42:13
That is the form required for Title VI participation.
Patricia Reitwiesner
42:37
Okay - thanks!
Meghan Deutsch
42:43
I thought the purpose of the supplemental was to support all native americans
Meghan Deutsch
43:13
students in our District that may or may not have a designation
Patricia Reitwiesner

Joanne Vergunst

Elizabeth Duncan
58:53
Salary costs are not restricted to the increase in instructional time compared to the spring?
Teresa Hopson
01:04:40
This was asked yesterday.. can we use the 5012 payment for BOCES services?
Lori Herbaugh
01:04:45
What are the requirements for time and effort documentation for the 4012 CRF funds?
Teresa Hopson
01:06:28
is it for just free lunch students? Does FDC count in the free lunch count?
Amy Beruan
01:07:30
Adam- but not for teacher calc under 4012?
Teresa Hopson
01:07:49
Directly certified students
Laura Gorman
01:09:40
For ESSER if we are doing the increased instructional hour for a charter, I understand Time & Effort is required. Do we just follow the typical federal time & effort, e.g. single cost objective reporting?
Laura Gorman
01:14:02
For extra duty can we just follow what our normal procedures are for documentation -- e.g. we have a form where it is entered & have supervisor approval -- I realize somewhere we have to indicate why related to COVID, but we don't want to create something different
Jennifer Okes
01:14:36
Sorry everyone, I need to jump off
