I highly recommend a recent podcast on Fresh Air (NPR) called “Tackling Child Poverty Through COVID Relief” that explained a lot about the child tax credit. And so much more. https://www.npr.org/2021/04/01/983431731/tackling-child-poverty-through-covid-relief

The ASU Pitchfork Pantry (ASU food bank) has been having SNAP representatives at our bi-weekly pop-up markets to speak to the students waiting to get food. We also passed an ASU faculty senate resolution to get more admin support for the pantry and basic needs coalition (among other issues) . We also got a resolution passed through our graduate student government to support increased food security and support for a full-time staff person to oversee the operations of the pantry (now on all 4 ASU campuses!)
