Why only the girls for the white carnations? It tells me the committee is probably very traditional.
Genders seem to be put in this traditional lane, no options to speak up or change it
Parents in the community though can get offended and leave, sometimes influencing other parents
I am in a small charter school. I think it is easier. One of the reasons is that we know our families, our students very well
