Sexual Harassment of Women in the Trucking Industry - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
Does the lack of information or response from the company a contributing factor to retention?
very interesting, here in the UK you can be prosecuted for dropping a cigarette on the sidewalk but not for harassing under age girls! It must be part of parenting to educate boys as well as girls as to what is acceptable and for companies to include a standard policy to protect staff. My question is: how do you see it progressing through social pressure or by legal requirement?
Can we get a copy of the questionnaire?
Do you have a stat on how many women have left driving because of harassment?
What do you contribute to the large drop off in respondents who didn’t finish the survey? Was there a common drop off point?
any practical solutions for drivers you noted to use in everyday life to deal with comments or behaviors?
are you planning to expand the study to include women in the student phase of their career?
Is there a forum to continue this conversation? It resonates with me and I would love to help other lady drivers with my OTR experience with this topic.
How can we follow along with your future research?
Thanks Lana and Kim!
