Dean and I are with you today in Minneapolis, Tammy. Our condolensces and love.
Kelly was so very welcoming and supportive to me when I was a 22-year-old new intern in Mason City. He was generous, kind, and such a wonderful model for how a pastor’s spouse can be supportive and be their own person who uses their own gifts for the church. Peace to his memory.
Kelly was such a great help at different times in my ministry. I will miss his enthusiasm and gift of direct speech
Much love to you Tammy and your family! Brenda Sawyer
Bradley Bergfalk sends peace to the Swanson-Dreheim family.
I also golfed often with Kelly. Kelly had a 1 iron. A 1 iron is the dumbest club and it's basically a putter, but he swore it was a secret weapon and I'd never seen one before. He would shank shot after shot with that club and when I'd be about to speak out, it would work and Kelly would talk about it the rest of the round.
Kelly was a gem of a man! I will miss him at meetings where Superintendent-spouses were participating. I always looked forward to spending time with him. The entire Northwest Conference staff remains in prayer for Tammy and family. Much love to you, Tammy. Mark Stromberg
Yes…it’s already been said, but Kelly was a trailblazer when it comes to being a model of a supportive pastor’s spouse. —Jodi Moore

Thankful to be able to celebrate the life of Kelly. A faithful servant of Christ who lived life with joy, was always authentically inviting, caring, and set a Christ like example for us all.
Such an honor to have Kelly in our lives. Will remember how he always LOVED time spent with Tammy, kids and grandkids. He cherished his family; they were his number one priority. Such a great man.........hugs to you....from John and Michelle Moran\

Blessings of peace to all of Kelly's family. Thanks, Pastor Greg and Pastor Mary, for being among those who are the hands and feet of Jesus there on the behalf of all of use who are praying and grieving. And yep... I have great golf memories of Kelly, too.

We will greatly miss Kelly and his stories of adventure. He was a good friend. We enjoyed our times together with Kelly and Tammy. Our hearts are with you, Tammy. Love in Christ, John and Julie Wenrich
I moved to town knowing few people. I was preparing for a showing of a home and scooping slushy snow off the sidewalk up to the front door in a suit and tie. Kelly pulled over and selflessly chipped in and helped. He would have left without an introduction but I had to force an introduction. That was just him. We ended up coming to the church and meeting the community through this connection. When I reflected with him on this years later, he shrugged it off and changed the subject. Also Kelly. I miss fishing with him and him stealing my cigarettes out of my tacklebox. He taught me to fish with plastic worms and never did share the secret of how to catch fish. He was the friend I needed when I moved to town. He was the wisdom that I needed. I will remember him always and miss him calling me a knucklehead.
The peace of Christ be with you, Tammy, Michael and David. Love, Carl & Diane Grant

Thank you all so much for telling me the stories of my dad. I was not around as much as I wished I could have been, and seeing these tales brings him closer to me and helps fill the hole he has left behind. I will miss him so very much. Even though we did not see each other often, he was a huge part of my life.
