We've been open serving students since Sept. 8. It will be the adults getting sick vs. the students that will result in a pivot to continuous virtual learning. Adult to Adult transmission and sports and/or student activities have been our only cases of known spread within our schools, thus far. We were in hybrid at the secondary level which our legislature has recently said we can't do any longer. We will be pressed in being able to guarantee 3 ft. social distancing in our secondary schools but we require masks and have students utilize mobile desk shields thus providing barriers and/or protection.

School employee absenteeism will likely mirror your degree of community spread thus creating the potential for not being able to cover classrooms. Unfortunately, adults may do what they need to do to stay safe and work and then they let their guard down when away from work.
