EUCAST MIC distributions and ECOFFs - Shared screen with speaker view

What has happened with all ECOFFs for Salmonella spp.? Are they excluded by mistake due to the spp issue? There is currently not a single Salmonella ECOFF on the new MIC distribution webpage and only separate serotypes are listed. It would be very impractical from a surveillance point of view to apply different ECOFFs for the >2500 Salmonella enterica serotypes and the MIC and zone data also do not support the need for this. The only antimicrobial where the serotypes seems to have a significant impact on the MIC is for colistin, where serotypes in the antigen O9 group appears to have a higher intrinsic resistance to colistin.
Thank you for this presentation. Could you reexplain why distributions for which the mode differ for just one dilution compared to the other already accepted distributions are excluded ?
Yes, thank you
Will there be more webinars? Thank you for presentation.
John mentioned the second derivate method as a means to set ECOFFs. Did I understand right that it would allow the inclusion also of truncated distributions?
Could CMI distributions obtained with E-test be included in the EUCAST database (if correlated with the reference method) ?
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
