Peers (consumers) who receive LTSS / HCBS, typically have a Person-Centered Plan which should consist of content and information that reflects how these rights and protections are going to be met and ensured and continue to be.

54:19
The Florida SILC is organizing a workgroup around barriers to LTSS and personal care assistance to add to our next SPIL.

54:33
In CA most of the efforts have been at the CIL level. As a SILC we are discussing but honestly I need more info which is why I'm here! We do have an LTSS group which I will take this back to!

The Oregon SILC and CILs participated in a ACL "pre-meeting" for the HCBS Oregon site visit scheduled for April.

57:45
I hope I am understanding correctly...CMS are making in-person visits to states regarding HCBS?? Is there a listing of when and where in the state CMS is visiting??

01:00:03
Could you distinguish between "person centered" and "consumer controlled" for those not familiar with the two terms?

01:00:26
So how would a SILC or CIL get involved in a site review? I

01:01:57
Does CMS have website link where the information can be found??

01:11:58
This is great information. In addition to calls like today - how are states learning about site visits and how to be involved in a proactive manner? We had CILs on our premeeting call who were really just there because the email was from ACL with the subject of "Oregon site visit"

01:13:24
Thank you

01:16:15
Here is SC's plan. You can see how CILs were involved (we have 3 CILs-- Able SC, Walton Options, and AccessAbility) https://msp.scdhhs.gov/hcbs/sites/default/files/SC%20HCBS%20STP%20-%20Oct%202021%20Final.pdf

I have to go to another meeting will be watching and sharing the recording Thank you

01:25:08
Thank you so much. I have to leave but this was great information.

01:25:33
This is how SC collected information to bring to CMS before the site visit: https://ablesouthcarolina.salsalabs.org/ResidentialCareCommunityConversation/index.html?eType=EmailBlastContent&eId=bb16a801-1a5d-43cd-a110-467d046841c3

01:27:21
Why are only 15 states receiving site visits? Also, some states still don't have a Final Approval on their plan despite their initial approval was completed on 2019. Is CMS just this far behind?

01:42:10
Oregon's site visit is scheduled for April 17-20 - after the March deadline - another extension?

01:49:48
It's almost 2:30 PM; I do need to go - can't stay past the allotted time for this - have other things to do, but thank you for the opportunity to learn and listen.

01:51:10
Thanks for the great information!

01:53:55
Great information. Thanks

01:53:57
