Dr. Nate Goldstein is a Professor in the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is a clinician investigator whose work examines patient-physician communication in patients with advanced heart failure–work that is funded by an R01 grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. He is also the Site Chair for the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.

Dr. Jacqueline S. Weingarten-Arams is a pediatric intensivist and Associate Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore in the Bronx. She has a background in nutritional biochemistry and specializes in research and teaching on the benefits of caloric composition and delivery to critically ill children. Her fellowship research, in both utilization of nitric oxide in respiratory failure and bench research in oxygen toxicity, originally fostered her interest in respiratory support of the critically ill child. Dr. Weingarten oversees the medical simulation program for pediatrics at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). This multidisciplinary educational program trains individuals and teams of providers in pediatric emergency scenarios.
