Sometimes it’s scary because I think the person I’m talking to will lash out at me for bringing up the topic. Then what do I do?

It’s a taboo to talk about race and everyone is scared of offending each other.

Having no control over how I or others like me are perceived. You can prepare yourself and be a “good citizen” but none of that matters when you’re seen as a threat.

Can you increase the volume?
