This is essentially Home Assistant for the Enterprise. What IOT protocols does this support?
Michael Ritchie
01:01:37
The IoT bridge supports both MQTT and web services
Jonathan Sparks
01:02:11
MQTT, HTTP, and we’ll be supporting others in the near future

Is the IoT bridge suitable for monitoring AV equipment, or is that best handled by other bridges / integrations"

If there were two sensors, eg: a temperature sensor and a door switch sensor, is there a simple way that they can they be tied together to drive a different workflow?

With MQTT you could use an open source solution which covers consumer products and route to ServiceNow
Jonathan Sparks

Thanks @Jonathan - probably best for a separate conversation - too many variables for a Zoom chat!
Jonathan Sparks

@Trevor - You can create a rule that uses those two. That rule generates an “IoT event”. You can then use that event show a combination of those two. In the future we will have something called derived values for your use case.

can you share this slide deck so we can talk to our OT engineers?
Jonathan Sparks
01:13:08
We can, yes
Adam Duckett
01:14:34
@Will - We also have some OT expertise on our teams to help with the conversation as you get into connections into OT equipment (PLCs, SCADA, control systems etc). Let us know if we can help in the conversation.
