We are using Newspack as our CMS developers, are we eligible for the grant in terms of being able to apply those funds against Newspack’s ongoing maintenance costs or do we have to identify new development costs to be eligible for the grant?

Would it be less competitive if we need funds for contracting out? We are have a database that is fine, but we need to build out the major donor tracking function. I think we need a specialist for that (i.e. we can’t do it ourselves.)

Are any of the reports or case studies from the successful applicants last year available?

Can the grant be used to have staff migrate content and assist the developer in designing the new site and moving it to a CMS?

Is the grant period flexible? Is it possible to back date the grant to when the decision/announcement is made? Or does it have to start in July?

We are planning on releasing an in-depth resource guide for our community, and we want this to have its own website (but we’d be using the same CMS as we use for our original website). We see this as an enhancement/improvement, would we still be eligible?
