COVID19 Vaccine Phase 1B call Sunday, January 17th - Speaker view
Lisa Buell
01:09:34
if an RN helps us admin vaccines does the pharmacist still sign consent form as administering it? also in WebIZ do we still list the pharmacist as administer by? do we need anything special/extra for the RN to help other than verifying they r licensed?
Mark
01:13:42
Can you transfer Vaccine from one store to another store in a different county?
jmarkfut
01:14:16
If anyone needs additional COVID shot record cards, you can ask the ADH at the monitored email address at Arkansas.gov and they will send the .pdf file. You can take the file to a printer and reprint cards for the additional doses in vials. They will not provide additional cards.
Nicki Hilliard
01:15:30
The shot card pdf is found on the APA Covid vaccine webpage at the bottom of the page.
Glenn Wood
01:15:51
Hang in there! We must not become "Victims of the Moment!"
Joe Korkames
01:18:13
we usually receive Pfizer vaccine we received some moderna next week. will we receive automatic 2nd doses for those as well
Nicki Hilliard
01:18:15
I still need to hear from John or ADH to get a clear direction on that. Hopefully they will answer that question on this call.
Joe Korkames
01:19:00
we received moderna this week sorry
Terry Perkins
01:20:43
If we received Moderna this week, how often should expect to keep receiving it?
Rebekah Hearn
01:22:12
Please verify what all needs to happen if we have an RN help us vaccinate. WebIZ updates?
Cody Turner
01:24:58
I did notice that there were sequential Lot numbers between my first shipment of Pfizer and the shipment that arrived at the time of the second doses. EJ1685 appeared to be paired with EJ1686
Kyle Hively
01:26:06

01:26:48
email from ADH on Friday about next weeks shipment was very clear. This will be our 3rd shipment & best communication yet
Victoria Hennessey
01:28:29
I have an order for Moderna showing in WebIZ, but have not received an email. Should I expect this order to come this week?
Terry Perkins
01:32:27
Medicine Man Pharmacy LOVES YOU!!!!
Kristin Ahlert
01:33:24
if we cant get doses, we cant make appointments
gary fancher
01:34:35
any chance of some type of state wide appointment scheduler to reduce duplicate requests to multiple sites to get better handle on actual number of folks that need vaccines.
Rhoda McMoran
01:35:45
will the board of pharmacy accept a certificate to immunize from the CDC through TCEonline. The accreditor is International Accreditors for CE and training
Victoria Hennessey
01:36:01
Can we get Michelle's email address to request these flyers and stickers?
Kristin Ahlert
01:36:16
I second that gary. If there could be a compiled list for each county, we can all work more efficiently. All our lists are HUGE and patients getting on every list at every pharmacy just shows an increased demand that may not be accurate
iPhone (2)
01:37:00
Marlene Battle has been targeting these communities as well
Terry Perkins
01:37:25
I THIRD Gary's idea!!! That would be very helpful
Laura C
01:37:33
We have been able to draw up extra doses. How do we get more safety needles if our warehouse is out? I can get regular, but not safety in 1 inch
Rebekah Hearn
01:38:00
Word of mouth is helping me in Berryville/Green Forest through the Tyson plants. They are going to be vaccinating their employees.
Rebecca Totty
01:40:01
I think it is important when your patients come into the pharmacy to ask them if they are interested in the vaccine. So many of my customers are not aware that they need to sign up or have access to social media. Word of mouth is our best policy.
Nicki Hilliard

Kristin Ahlert
01:41:42
jotform.com is that what Jordan said?
Susannah Fuquay
01:42:20
Yes jotform.com is correct
Kristin Ahlert
01:43:06
thank you Susannah
JeffFenwick
01:45:09
Is the second dose window more that 21 days now?
Mandi Roller
01:47:18
moderna is 28 days
Melissa’s iPad
01:47:18
our email explicitly said this is first dose vaccine that we will receive this week, will the second dose shipment say these are for second dose?
Kristin Ahlert
01:48:19
I don't believe it will be specified first or second dose. you have to hold back for second doses
Kristin Ahlert
01:51:07
we can continue entering individually correct?
Brenna’s iPhone
01:51:14
we got an email that specifies 2nd dose trays
Rhoda McMoran
01:51:33
how do we expedite certification for vaccine administration for pharmacists who do not have one? Is APhA the only accepted certificate for AR BOP?
Brenna’s iPhone
01:51:33
does the flat file require race ethnicity site ?
Kyle Hively
01:51:38
If you don't have an interface between your system and WebIZ that automatically uploads administration data, the flat file option is definitely the way to go.
mandy
01:51:39
I requested flat file button from webiz on Thursday and still don't have one. Will they be open tomorrow?
Lisa Buell
01:52:28
if an RN helps us admin vaccines does the pharmacist still sign consent form as administering it? also in WebIZ do we still list the pharmacist as administer by? do we need anything special/extra for the RN to help other than verifying they r licensed? we do not use a flat file upload
Kuenzel
01:53:08
initially it was said that it was 17 to 21 days, right?
Lisa Buell
01:54:05
my understanding was 2 days prior or 2 days after the 28days for moderna was acceptable.....
Kuenzel
01:54:38
but it was said 17-21 on pfizer early on
Laura Lumsden
01:54:39
Since 2nd dose shipments are tagged as such, do they count against us as unused inventory?
iphone 11pro
01:54:47
is the 24 hour deadline for adjusting on-hand inventory daily or reporting each individual patients vaccination? Which is being used to determine states allocation?
Brian Smith
01:55:05
We are designing ours in a pod system. pod 1 we gave 73 doses. pod two we gave 33z.
Mitchell's Park St Rx
01:55:17
Is there a way we could just enter into a portal somewhere that tells you how many vaccinations we did that day, so we can give you the data?
Brian Smith
01:55:39
we place those in a file folder together and label the date given and when the return 2nd dose should be.
Julie Stewart
01:56:27
so if we update our inventory every day, then individual patent entry can occur within 72h?
Eric Shoffner
01:57:40
I have partnered with a Company called SMP. They are uploading my data and reporting for me. it would be helpful if APA could find all the folks out there that can do such.
LRFRUCHEY@SBCGLOBAL.NET
01:57:50
does the 24 hour limit on webiz entry include weekends. do Friday doses need to be documented by Saturday or Monday.
Kristin Ahlert
01:57:51
so if inventory is adjusted appropriately daily, then uploading specific patient info can wait?
Mitchell's Park St Rx
01:58:40
If we manually adjust the inventory daily, it would be impacted again when the record is entered into WebIZ later if done manually.
Eric Shoffner
01:58:48
I have partnered with a Company called SMP. They are uploading my data and reporting for me. it would be helpful if APA could find all the folks out there that can do such.
Eric Shoffner
02:00:09
There are numerous processors that will upload for all of us.
Victoria Hennessey
02:02:59
schedule 2nd doses while patients are waiting their 15 minutes.
jmarkfut
02:03:01
Is there a way that ADH can notify each pharmacy that is currently vaccinating if their data reporting looks good on their end? If not, let us know what needs to be corrected.
JeffFenwick
02:03:04
We are scheduling our second doses first then peppering 1st doses in the vacancies …. I just hope we get what I have scheduled
Kathryn Stark
02:03:58
for anyone utilizing smp; how do you format in sig for specific dose #? We were told ds: 1 but all my uploads rejected. Anyone else experience this?
jmarkfut
02:04:08
Second what Jeff said
laura wagner
02:04:13
WILL THE SECOND DOSE ORDER SHOW ON TOTAL COMING ON WEB IZ? IF YES, I HAVE 2ND DOSES DUE NEXT WEEK BUT NO 2ND DOSES COMING THIS WEEK
Laura C
02:06:34
So, we do we update doses in vaccine locator when we receive 2nd dose? or only 1st dose?
Jamie Darling
02:07:03
yep
Glenn Wood
02:07:03
If we could get a steady number of vaccines coming in each week, whether it's 100 or 1000, we could manage our schedule and 2nd doses better I would think. As supplies increase so would the allotment.
Jamie Darling
02:07:10
locked door with list
Rebekah Hearn
02:07:35
Printing the door hanger Jordan sent
JeffFenwick
02:07:41
What Glenn said
Kelly Buffalo
02:10:36
I had people just show up this Saturday to get the vaccine. If the media could share that appointments are being scheduled and we are not taking walk-ins that would be helpful.
Kyle Hively
02:12:12
Are there plans for ADH or OEM to maintain a centralized "list" or scheduling system for each county?
Jamie Darling
02:13:26
Thank you, Dr. Dillaha! I have noticed in your interviews!
JeffFenwick
02:13:34
I agree with Kristin!
Lacey Hoggard
02:13:53
Second doses arrive a week before we are due to start administering them (which is great). But will that affect us receiving additional first doses the next week when it looks like we are sitting on a bunch of doses but we really can’t give them yet?
JeffFenwick
02:14:03
We need some grant money for supplies and extra labor cost
iphone 11pro
02:14:55
I’ve heard several of Dr Dillaha’s interviews & she mentioned limited doses & high demand in each one. Thank you!
Kuenzel
02:15:25
i am going to need my 2nd doses of moderna by 1-25 10:00 am. Is that possible?
blakesmom
02:15:52
Do we need to encourage people get their doses in the county they live in?
Glenn Wood
02:16:15
I agree with Kristin...not a statewide list but by county. When I brought this up with someone local, it was met with, "Who's gonna pay for the labor to man such a list?"
Kuenzel
02:16:31
thanks john
Lisa Buell
02:18:19
if an RN helps us admin vaccines does the pharmacist still sign consent form as administering it? also in WebIZ do we still list the pharmacist as administer by? do we need anything special/extra for the RN to help other than verifying they r licensed? we do not use a flat file upload
Kristin Ahlert
02:18:30
Lavaca School district in very on board with this.
Kristin Ahlert
02:18:59
Lavaca is a small school district so that will work there
Rebekah Hearn
02:19:42
I’m doing three clinics with Berryville, eureka, and green forest. but only about 100 per school and partnering with another pharmacist to split and each bring 50 doses to each
gary fancher
02:19:42
ask the Governor to tell folks over 70 it may take 6 to 8 weeks to get their vaccine
Shelly Tucker
02:20:08
You could vaccinate one school at a time. You don’t have to do the entire district in one clinic.
Kristin Ahlert
02:20:22
absolutely Shelly
Misti Evans
02:22:53
Atkins Family Pharmacy- we partnered with out head school nurse. she sent a district wide survey of who wanted the vaccine. She arranged her list and highlighted who in her professional opinion who was priority. We hold morning clinic for seniors and after noon clinic for teachers. so far has helped me so much!
Mandi Roller
02:26:49
Kristen, work with the leaders in your community and county. in Conway County we have implemented a Covid hotline for all 70+ to call and get put on a centralized list for the county. when we get vaccine we will contact the hotline and ask for the certain amount of names to fill our appointments. it’s really relieved our phone lines and it will only get better! we have a different plan for teachers, and they know they are being taken care of, so they aren’t calling.
Laura C
02:28:35
We have 2 pharmacies in our county. 800 school/university employees. We are getting 100 doses. Are you saying extra doses may come from somewhere else?
Rebekah Hearn
02:29:47
I have tons of Missouri wanting a shot
Mandi Roller
02:30:08
no, we are allocating a certain number of our doses for appointments at the pharmacy, and we are doing weekly clinics for teachers starting this Saturday with what’s left after appointments. we have 4 districts in our county, and we are starting by vaccinating all teachers in each district 60 and older.
Lindsey
02:30:50
We have a significant number of people asking for documentation requirements regarding proof of Phase eligibility. Am I missing the guidance on this?
Lisa Chamblee/ Laws Drug
02:36:25
No, person was not Native American. And I just heard that an AR person with an appt. in OK got there and was turned down b/c they changed their criteria that day (Friday, I believe) and were now only doing OK residents.
Rae Fowler
02:36:55
what about store patients that live across the state line? we are located very close to MO state line.
Arkansas Pharmacists Association
02:37:51

thank you Mandi
Phillip Rozell
02:43:26
Do we have a timeline as to when volume or number of doses to Arkansas will increase.
Joe Korkames
02:43:31
what kind of documentation do we need for private caregivers who are who are employed by the patient and not a company
Amy Babb
02:43:48
Gov/ADH needs to communicate that the events for educators will be coming but might take a while!!
SAM MCHANEY
02:45:19
