Some of the ex GO Orion V made it out Alberta as well. Aurora Transportation in Bonnyville picked up a few of them for some of their oil field contracts. They didn't last very long in service with them as they didn't work out very well in the dusty environments.

Biggest issues were the offset rear engine and the independent strutt front suspension

i visited edmonton in 2007 stayed with a cousin, the local cable news station made a big deal about that orion 7 hybrid

Edmonton only have 2 hybrids left in service. We had 6 - two were converted to straight diesel, and then the two Orion's were retired

When orion IIs were fueled and parked and air system would leak and it sat drooped, fuel would overflow and smell would linger

Calgary had several Orion Is and one Orion II.
