Does Chino Tower have control of the airspace ABOVE 2700 feet?
I don't see a poll.
I don't see it either
where is the q?
You can check out typical air traffic tracks and practice areas on ChartAware.com https://chartaware.com/
watch out flying ODP out of Torrance... Got a low flying notification ….
Can we source a copy of the Santa Paula pattern slide?
Can you say the question out loud?
Using Mozilla....NO POP US POLLS! :(
The polls are visible if you are using the Zoom app or Zoom software on PC. Not sure about browsers
Lots of traffic in the area unreported
No waiver required
We typically don’t use both frequencies
How about military training areas (in black) like north of Santa Barbara?
where is this chart from with the red training aras what website is it
If your interested in a file you can import into ForeFlight, let me know, email@example.com
I also probably should know this but where do most of you find TEC routes? I use http://myflightroute.com/inputtec.php but I never know if that is always up to date.
Sorry, Play that again please?
I assume electronic charts are now sufficient doesn't really require paper chart?
That was me...N371CD
Yep...I was petrified maybe I did something wrong.
Shocked to see my call sign and hear my voice!
You have permission as long as I don’t get a deviation!
I recognized your voice and tail number immediately, Bob! :-)
yep indeed that whole corridor is russian roulette vfr
I HATE Special Flight Rules. The other routes are easier and safer; you’re with a controller watching you back the whole time.
NICHOL!!!!! My first job was at Nichol/Otay!!!
cause it is a silly q
I love flight following!
Anytime you’re CC within SoCal, ATC wants you ask for Flight Following.
I may be weird, but I actually like using the radio. Team playing!
Flight Following is my friend!
Anyone who’s been in a pinch can really appreciate flight following.
No good reason to not get flight following
interesting I've never been declined FF on west coast. I've been declined several times on east coast (nyc area) where they say unable and call next sector
usually they decline tho just because they know you are exiting their sector soon I'd guess. socal they are really friendly controllers I must say
why does it even exist? Just adjust the space to eliminate it?
I always use FF, no matter where I go.
I have been ignored exiting the LAX SFR TRANSITION

SoCal is usually great. Mugu likes being difficult.
3k only or atx
with or without atc tho?
There are no fans present, so Yes.
Fans present is irrelevant. It's the capacity of the stadium that matters.
Without ATC Authorization, Restrictions, TFR etc are Restricted, no matter what.
which is stupid
Louis Farah Jr
foreflight sources sports TFRs from stubhub, Ticketmaster, etc
Louis Farah Jr
so keep that in mind. it’s only as accurate as those websites.
Question: Is this seminar available for playback?
R in Sierrra
How about the airport using the I?
but there can be discrepancy between the ticketmaster and the scanned number tickets at exact time of overflight.
Thank you !

Another hotspot is KHHR LOC where pilots will overshoot LOC and get into B airspace. Have to be on my students about this.
Thank You Mark, Brian and Mike.
