Apparently I am having technical difficulties. I am a rehab counselor with LRS in the Baton Rouge Regional Office. My first memory of money is actually one someone mentioned last time...my mother made a deal that she would pay me for every A on my report card. It came back to bite her because I made straight As until I graduated. What I expect to learn from this training is some tips and resources that I can pass along to my consumers.

I like maintain 2 months income in savings for emergencies. In the past, I'd heard that I should aim to save 6 months in savings. I found having 6 months of savings difficult.

they do come back. I had a client that hadn't been in school for about 15 years whose loans had been forgiven but then when he reapplied to return to school, he had to go through the process of having them be forgiven again.
