I agree completely kids need to be in school. However we do not know that the rate of incidence of virus will be higher if masks are optional. Kids need to be in school and able to breathe and see one another. The masks are limiting normal health and social function.

A final comment on optional masks. Ideally, regarding masks, we would employ the parent and admin partnership. And the Diocesan partnership. Then, we would engage in a true partnership.
