It is important to call out that right now many good teachers that have been teaching in the community for a long time are currently leaving teaching in Montbello because of the instability of this transition. There are so many teachers that want to stay, but the unstable process is pushing them out and it is very heartbreaking

^Nicole is correct and it is a fight happening hour by hour by those of here in Montbello that love our community but also know we have to have a career left in 2 years.

I taught at MLK 13-14 and on our senior BBQ day a tornado hit. I was at FPW the following couple years and definitely had to shelter and I remember kids being scared but can’t recall how much damage/if it touched down. My car was not totaled then.
