Do you work with individual artists - i.e. I'm a playwright or is this much more aimed at organisations?

I'm working in the intersection of arts/creativity and health/wellbeing

theatre organisations with charitable status?

we are a disability arts charity running a theatre taken on via asset trasnfer

I'm in dance for health organisation but do not currently have charity status would that be an issue learning how and where we get funding from?

I work in the LA world my job is income generation and savings - the hard task is there is only me and that has been the case for 19 years.. I do bring in high volumes even in 2020. The reason I'm listening is to show that more support is needed to raise more to save jobs in Bolton.

I was told that the focus of your teaching tends to be geared towards the performance arts, those with venues and tour. Will this course ensure that bias (if true) is minimised for organisations that are not performance oriented ? I am not saying this is true but that was the feedback I got from a former alumnus.

For clarity - I work as a consultant with them - not an employee

As an individual I would need to fundraise in order to come on the course. Do you have any suggestions beyond the arts council? Or do you offer any burseries based on your own expert fundraising!

@Lisa you could try building this into an Arts Council England Developing Your Creative Practice grant, in tandem with practice-based development?

Is there flexibility on modules delivered on course? I have long background in successful fundraising from charitable trusts but want to learn about major donors etc

I’m a director and trustee of my organisation. I have no experience with fundraising. is this course for me? I’m worried I’ll be in over my head!

Thanks Robin indeed I'm thinking of doing that already but if its really the only source for me to go to that may also be the case at the end of the course!

How early in one's career is too early to consider this? Am at the latter end of an entry level position (no ownership of the fundraising strategy yet) looking to learn for the next step.

Those who do the April course - will we have the chance to meet up and share our experiences IN PERSON later in the year - Covid allowing?

Do you need to come on the course with a specific project/funding target in mind?

Are there any organisational activities that should be carried out before the course to be able to get the most of it? I'm the main member of staff working on fundraising with a team of eight employed community musicians (who we have to find enough money to pay salaries to all year round!) So should anything be done organisationally before approaching this course? For example, particular strategic approaches, trustee engagement, staff input, etc.

It was Marina's first job when she was at the Orange Tree Theatre ! I took over that job from her 17 years ago!

Is the course delivered by Zoom or Microsoft teams or another platform?

yes how do the fees differ in Nov I saw online fees but if we signed up to the later course - where is it located and do you need you to pay for accommodation etc on top of the fees? Or do you have a flat rate to cover all this for the Nov course?

So as many people have lost jobs what are you putting in place to make it accessibly for people who can't afford this?

how soon do you anticipate November's course being fully booked?

Is the attendance fee for an organisation or for an individual person to attend? IE we are a small organisation with shared fundraising responsibilities, so would the same person have to attend each module?
