In facilities with multiple units, would you consider having surveyors focus on specific units on given day to avoid cross contamination between units? We are segregating our staff from other units to reduce potential transmission.

Can you speak about F886 and the expectation that we test twice weekly if the county positivity rate is above 10%? We are in the surveillance program testing every 10 days, would we be cited in Rockingham county under this reg.

are you able to clarify the mandate for staff testing vs staff recommend testing? Is this only in outbreak/cluster status? or are staff mandated to be tested now as part of CRSSP?

It looks like an outbreak is defined as one positive case for a resident or staff member. Based upon these guidelines, I am understanding that this means that ALL residents and staff must be tested every 3-7 days for at least 14 days and until no new positive cases are identified. This is different as up to this point, the state’s “investigator” determined outbreak status and testing requirements. Is the state prepared to assist with this?

With the restarting of surveying would the surveyors still interview every resident? Worried with increased exposure to residents

Kristie, we are already submitting a test tracking form to DHHS every time we test. would that be sufficient for testing notification?
