@ Tonia - can you talk to the policy signals being introduced in the US to incentivize equitable access to charging infrastructure.

Hi everyone - super interesting discussion and great questions Alina! My question is related to the chicken and egg situation with chargers and vehicles - I'm seeing a lot of charger roll outs and charging grants across Australia from across state government, local councils and private organisations, but EV uptake is still quite low. Do you think we're jumping the gun a little bit given how quickly EV and EV charging technology is changing and evolving (and risk stranded charging assets) - or do you think chargers need to come first and EV uptake will follow?

Kia Ora! One for EVC - great to see AU Federal Government supporting public DC infrastructure with future fuel fund. Do you think we will next see support for AC infrastructure where there are limitations around DC deployment in dense urban areas when Multi-unit dwellings dominate?

Great to see this as an all women panel - great initiative, so going electric is not just the domain of the blokes !!

Also EV chargers aren’t exactly visible, like a giant petrol station. They sit in car parks of shopping centres or golf resorts and no-one really nieces them unless they need them

There is a huge advantage particularly for parents esp of young children - to not having to take the time to drive to a petrol station, and not having to reach into your wallet every week/time, while avoiding the fumes and emissions

Don’t women greatly influence the purchase of a vehicle

Thank you everyone. It's so wonderful to know that the conversations are happening. I've had an EV for over 18 months and have converted a lot of people - as mentioned by Chau, as soon as 'rev heads' feel the torque, they're in. Let me know how everyday EV owners can help promote EVs.
