how long ag did you start?
How did you encourage congregations to participate?
I feel like I’m the only person in my congregation who knows or cares about RenewalWorks. I don’t even know where to begin, or how.
Donald I am there with you
We had a false start with another parachurch ministry aimed at evangelism and church growth and now I think people are a little gun shy.
because they gathered in-person with Renewal Works before the pandemic??
Can you speak to some examples of what the churches did, how they took the data and what they did differently
Let’s talk in more detail about finding allies. The how piece. Different practical ways to get started.
I feel the time is right now. Everyone is asking "what will the church be in the new normal?" Regarding process - e.g, how you gathered folks together in the first workshop- knowing what you know - if you were starting to do this work on-line (not in person) with your congregations, any suggestions? What to watch for?
An article in the church newsletter? A sign up sheet on the church bulletin board? An announcement during coffee hour? Hosting a coffee hour? Cold-calling other people whose names are in the directory?
And how to approach the rector who is resistant to this?
I was recently asked by a colleague about how Renewal Works has worked in congregations of color? Not just in NH, but what is Renewal Works experience with these communities?
what wisdom would you give on how to nurture openness in congregations to the RW process?
OK, great, how do I start a meaningful, effective one-on-one conversation? I feel like I’m always selling but no one is buying.
hey, you gotta problem with school house rock?

but Saddleback and Willow Creek are white churches
OK great let’s start there. How do I get someone else in my church besides me to do RenewalWorksforMe? I’m a lone ranger. I don’t want to be a lone ranger.
Does anyone have experience with the Renewal Works "for Me"?
it is GREAT.
Yes. I do. I liked it and I’d be happy to say more about it.
Yes, it is great. Means different things to different folks.
Indeed thank you Bishop and Tina!
