We are exporting HUGE trains full of lettuce and other California agricultural products to other States that were grown in California. Why not raise the price of water to agriculture, so the consumers in other States share some of the additional water costs, including infrastructure costs?

My friends in North Valley (Glenn, etc.) do NOT want the busway on NORDHOFF. We in Panorama City do not want it ON POSCOE. So Metro decided to put the damn busses on BOTH MAJOR STREETS. We all need to look at the new proposals and weigh in *SO)ON*.

Why does General Manager Beltran not attend VANC meetings anymore?
Lionel Mares
02:13:11
I think we should consider having an open-mind and to re·as·sess the Metro Bus Lines. The San Fernando Valley can use major investments from L.A. Metro to increase buses and get more people to use Public Transportation.

Re: Urge City Council to retain telephonic public commenting. You and your NC should voiceyour opinionsI think it is a great idea to return to Public Comment via Telephone and/or Zoom. Many Activists & Advocates, myself included, have been asking the Los Angeles City Council to make it accessible for people, especially for people with Disabilities, and those who can't come to City Hall, to make Public Comment. The L.A. City Council have to be more flexible and to allow people to have access to City Council either by telephonic and in-person meetings.

On time sensitive issues, like the no-public-input RFP to give away the Northeast Valley animal control facility to a non-profit, we all need to realize that we can WRITE INDIVIDUALLY on every Council File ("as an individual"). The MORE LETTERS THE BETTER. Often the magic of a CIS gets in the way of Speed and VOLUME when we are trying to get city attention.

Commissioner Shaffer is correct regarding the resignation. Here is an excerpt from his letter which is in the Council File: "I have appointed Ms. Jennifer Valdivia to the Board ofNeighborhood Commissioners for the term ending June 30, 2027. Ms. Valdivia will fillthe vacancy created by Quyen Vo-Ramirez, who has resigned.
Tony Wilkinson
02:50:39
We are in the phase when the Mayor is appointing as many people as posible and getting as many fast decisions as possible )for example, the giveaway of the Northeast Valley animal shelter to a nonprofit, so that HE WILL GET HIS WAY long after he has left, regardless of who is elected Mayor. Hence in my opinion the new BONC commissioner.
EmpowerLA - Ann-Marie Holman
02:51:12
Hi Richard, the closest thing to a position paper might be the items labeled "GM Commission Memo" - there are several of these from the ongoing discussion. They are all batched together at the top of the document list in that Drive folder.
