Not needing an assistant per se, very interested to learn more!

14:44
Biz dev and organizational dev consultant; have had them b4, ready for another one

14:46
I want to be able to help entrepreneurs find an EA

15:17
My name is Eve Dubois. My business is NumberWorks, and we provide bookkeeping services to small businesses and nonprofits. Some of our challenges are around scheduling and billing.

15:18
I’ve been an Executive Assistant to a CEO in VT for the majority of my career to date, and am attending because I’m interested to know what the climate, interest and discussion level is here in VT for the EA field.

16:06
Kathleen Ramsay, Town of Middlebury, eager to learn more.... there may be a transition coming of our staff.

20:28

22:22

24:26

26:31
@ Meaghan, Distracted over here…I need an EA!

27:01
Haha so relevant Scott!!

27:41
It also makes sense that Megan has been an EA in the past!! It all comes together :)

27:51
Attention to detail is so important!

28:14
Will the slide presentation and/or a recording be available after the webinar?

28:51
@Eve - Yes! We will send them to you after

29:38
We will share the slides!!

31:03
No computer…the ultimate EA challenge!

31:19
Terrifying!!

37:02
How do you prefer to communicate?

37:21
How the potential EA would approach certain situations that you would want them to take over?

38:06
yes, Madeline, especially ones that are conflict related

38:47
Oooo someone who doesn’t ask questions! Such a red flag!!

40:16
scheduling classes & events!

40:43
Question: What’s the best way to get to know your EA?

41:11
Any ideas to speed up the process?

43:58
Another related question! If it feels like it’s not a great fit or not working out in the beginning…should you give it time? If so, when do you know to make a change?

44:13
+1 Sam - That was my q too!

48:37
On that note, was is a “typical” amount of onboarding time?

49:24
*what

51:08
Can you offer thoughts on the pros and cons of a remote EA, and forming an EA relationship from scratch remotely vs. in person? We’ve all been more remote this year than previously, but oftentimes building on professional relationships and connections that were originally formed in person. Just wondering about the time to develop implicit trust, and what Worxbee recommends for how to do that with the EA/exec relationship in a remote environment, particularly.

52:15
great ? Megan!

59:08
I have to jump off for another meeting but thanks to VCET & Worxbee for this session!

59:21
Thank YOU, and CWE!

59:28
Thanks for joining Madeline!

01:00:26
I have to jump off too, thanks so much

01:00:31
Thanks Peter!

01:02:23
Thanks Peter!

01:03:09
Is the per-hour cost to the client standard & set, or variable based on the skill set of the paired EA?

01:05:10
No other questions but this was great!!

01:05:22
Thank you Angela and Amie, super helpful info today.
