Why are the teachings of Jesus from over 2000 years ago relevant today?
Janet Forte
01:05:34
I know we all often ask how can we balance our faith in God while witnessing such hardships to ourselves, our community, our country and our world?
McP/Sidels
01:05:38
Why are the teachings of Jesus that are ONLY 2000 years old relevant when the universe is so, so much older and will be so, so much longer?

01:10:16
It is always helpful to hear you speak to Andy’s question, which is similar to my question.

I’m especially interested in the questions about how to understand and live with bad things happening to good people and about how to forgive those who willfully do harm.
Karen
01:11:49
I think the questions around the bad things happening is something I would like to hear = how do we not only keep our faith but put it into action?

Yes Meredythe - prayer is a great place to ask questions! I often find myself chewing on something and getting more frustrated about it - and then when I remember to talk to God about it and ask God, my perspective opens up and I feel some peace or some presence (even if I didn't get an "answer" :) )

I have heard (already!) that there might be problems with the link I posted. I'll try it out and send it out in email to chat (corrected if necessary).
