Lots of children are facing traumatic situations even with the pandemic and lots of deaths etc.

Separations, divorce etc.

Children do not know how to express their emotions and the adults are so consumed with adult decisions, coping with bills etc that they do not realize that the children are humans with big emotions

And they start reacting and when they are all grown ups they carry these into their own adult life

Lots of suicides, covid related death and lose of their grandparents support system

Another problem for children is all the switching of childcares…loss of the original provider through closings or what ever.

I lost 4 families last year and they had to keep 2 of them as I was in my Fall semester and it was disrupting my studies

I did not know till after my exams that I lost 2 more

Yes, we lost child care providers too

The lack of childcare in our area is heartbreaking. I’m adding in 3 new little ones. One is switching to her 3rd provider over the last year!

WE see the traumatic affects in our children. So many children are suffering and we as caregivers must give as much love and understanding to hlp children understand what going on with them

And we cannot take more than 2 infants
