I also went through hopics they turned me and my babies down time after time and we just lost our truck so it's hard to get up there before 7:45

Can I recommend that you invite the homeless service providers (I.e. LAHSA, HOPICS,PATH and harbor interfaith) at your meetings? The process for the vouchers is complicated. I have been able to get the vouchers working with each of the above agencies. The applicant has to have identification and social security cards before the vouchers are issued. That slows things down. Once the vouchers are issued they are only good for 30 days.
