Hi Paula - it’s the same CGA as before. :)

I do highly recommend the CGA as part of a community dialogue mix. I have used it in conversations with high-school students, college students, seniors and a mix. Feedback has been very positive. It works best with small groups though so having a way to report out on emerging themes across groups with another platform for ongoing interaction is useful. Happy to talk with others about mixing tools that are accessible and free.

Kara, how can we get information on the moderator training?

September 29th, 1pm eastern/11 mountain for that online tool event.

@Clare- yes, all of these issues guides are currently in CGA for convening a forum. We’ll also be adding more NIF Historic Decisions guides.

Just to clarify — the new policing guide is a “replacement” for the safety and justice guide from 2017?

Check out the San Diego Deliberative Dialogue Network. We were working on Spanish language guides and moderator recruitment before I left in 2017.

This is not the same, but we do a non-partisan voter guide for our students and community. Our 200-level Spanish students translate this as way to integrate CE in their course.

@Deborah — it is a reframing based on the current state of dialogue in the country. So yes I would say it will be a replacement.

Can Kara Dillard share her email for follow up?

For bilingual - while I have not tried, I was on a training session with MS Teams - they say they can simultaneously translate to 6 languages chosen from among many offered.
