Tewa lands at the confluence of the Rio Grande and Santa Fe river (New Mexico)
This is Anne from the Indiana Forest Alliance. Thank you for this season, Jonathan. What is the Fund’s stance in relation to politics/advocacy/lobbying/legal efforts related to conservation of, say, a national forest?
Also, would creating a forest preservation effort across a whole metropolitan area/county be eligible?
You mentioned one core parameter is to be "collaboratively governed" and should be a suite of partners coming together and making decisions through collective leadership. How does this fit into "indigenous led" partnerships? Our Tribe is a strong partner in our working group, but the working group includes federal, private, non-profit, and academic sectors as well. Are we "indigenous led?"
I represent a 21-state partnership in the East. We've done initial strat planning steps and are ready to move to the next strat planning phase by bringing in more partners. Strategic Planning is needed to integrate collective vision from new partners and move us toward collective action. Strat planning meetings/processes are eligible?
This might be on your website, but can you describe an example of an ideal Catalyst Fund project and what it accomplished?
will there be alink to the recording?
