Carol - we divide and conquer at our store. Muir does all a lot of our web processing and we have a system in place for a the signed pre-orders that we have. Happy to talk offline about what we do, especially in terms of using Anthology - we've saved several steps there with the Indiecommerce download / integration

Queen Anne Book Co does shopping through the front door while we keep store for appointment-only. We have a tray for credit card that we carry to the register inside the store. It would be great for us to have another register (laptop) like Laura's express checkout if traffic increases!
