But theOhio Supreme Court just denied the redistricting maps they have provided and have to re-go over them because they violated the rules I believe today

I think that's right Pia. The maps were apparently really egregious

Once the ballots are received at Elections on Grady Way the entire process is transparent (glassed in observation areas). The ballots are fed into the counting machines after a number of steps have been accomplished. We never have put our own ballots in the counting machines.

To me that is so un-American and one of the basic tenets of our Constitution and those that deny that violates the Constitution and they should be booted out

I think the carve out option will be effective. The talking filibuster I think will be ineffective.

But what are US Senators and House of Representatives doing in their states, nothing. They don't even take time to acknowledge what local organizations in their state are doing about educating voters and future voters what's really happening. All they do is ask for donations for their re-election chests. I have changed my donations to only local elections. I remember hearing about the expense involved just in printing the advisory votes. Would the new, "useful" information have similar costs? Why not just leave them out & just keep things ppl actually need to vote on?

The way they are worded is anti tax. Voters don’t realize these are already passed legislation

It’s really a push poll that leads you to only one conclusion - more or less. Wording is slanted from the first sentence “without the vote of the people” .

The language on how an advisory vote appears on the ballot is mandated by law, so it always begins with something like "without the vote of the people..." .

Juan, at least RCV for Pres. Primaries, SB 5851 has support from Republican Senator Ann Rivers, and co-sponsor D Sen. Mona Das. 1156 was voted out of two committees with bipartisan support. Not exactly what you are referring to, but hopeful.
