And they forget there were Republicans and independents you also were election officials that served with the Democrats as poll workers and that's insulting to them implying that they were cheating also

Deb, David Frockt introduced the bill in response to our Elections Director having her life threatened
Pia Kanistros

we have a great system we have trialed and used in our area- Is checked three ways- no connection to the internet and you actually put your own ballot into the counting machine

30:22
there was a big victory in Ohio today
Pia Kanistros
31:07
But theOhio Supreme Court just denied the redistricting maps they have provided and have to re-go over them because they violated the rules I believe today
Roy Pardee
32:01
I think that's right Pia. The maps were apparently really egregious
Kate Butt
32:08
Once the ballots are received at Elections on Grady Way the entire process is transparent (glassed in observation areas). The ballots are fed into the counting machines after a number of steps have been accomplished. We never have put our own ballots in the counting machines.
Pia Kanistros
32:20
To me that is so un-American and one of the basic tenets of our Constitution and those that deny that violates the Constitution and they should be booted out
Daniel Lewinski
32:57
I think the carve out option will be effective. The talking filibuster I think will be ineffective.
Dwight Rousu
34:47
getting both carve out and talking filibuster would be better than just either

Juan Vega to Everyone - Democrats and independents know what the republicans are doing voting but what are Democrats and Independents doing, mostly lip service, urging writing to the White House, Senators and House Representatives. But what are US Senators and House of Representatives doing in their states, nothing. They don't even take time to acknowledge what local organizations in their state are doing about educating voters and future voters what's really happening. All they do is ask for donations for their re-election chests. I have changed my donations to only local elections. Democrats talk about the big lie concerning the 2020 Presidential election, but what about the big lie they talk about what they are doing to better voting in the USA. Nothing. How many of you get emails asking for money so that your Democrat and Independent US

The way they are worded is anti tax. Voters don’t realize these are already passed legislation
Carol Sullivan
56:54
It’s really a push poll that leads you to only one conclusion - more or less. Wording is slanted from the first sentence “without the vote of the people” .
Hanna Floss
57:33
The language on how an advisory vote appears on the ballot is mandated by law, so it always begins with something like "without the vote of the people..." .

Testifiers want to ensure there is education associated with this holiday on the value of the voting franchise, and that it is a day to acknowledge that people of color remained disenfranchised because of state rles. No republican is going to vote for any of these bills. These bills have no chance of passing with the filibuster provision in the US Senate being changed.
