Melanie's point is important as I heard that the Dept of Taxes said there were significantly low #s of property tax adjustment claims filed. Tax deadline was extended to 7/15 but not sure VTers actually got their adjustments in

Melanie-What ever is owed in back rent or the VSHA standard monthly payment, which ever amount is less times the months rent was missed. That is the cap.

Question about VSHA Rental Housing Stabilization Program: Will people that answer on the application that their rent isn't sustainable be denied for rent arrearage funds?
If someone has been moved into emergency housing due to eviction situation, can they apply for rent arrearage with the hope of getting back into the rental they left - presuming the tenant would be in accord
if a tenant already submitted her application without landlord's part what's best way for her to continue....
This might have already been answered, but somebody doesn't have to demonstrate proof of a plan for paying rent in the future, right? For example, showing that they are going to be working
