I'd like to know where Mr. Cummings lives, how long he's lived there and elsewhere in the county.

I'd like to know specifically from each candidate their experience with the Building Department
Debbie Hencke

I’d like to know what they think of the merger of the Planning Department with Public Works that’s taken place.

Will the candidate seek to retain the current 3rd District staff?

It wasn’t that there was no regional knowledge, but that CalFire was unwilling to communicate with locals who could easily have provided as much local knowledge as necessary.
Ami Chen Mills-Naim
01:00:57
Yes. That is what I mean.
Ami Chen Mills-Naim
01:01:24
No local knowledge used to fight the fires.

The county needs to take over the electrical grid. This is happening in other communities, Gonzales, for one.

Measure D: Yes or No?
Ami Chen Mills-Naim
01:12:09
I would love to take over the electrical grid, if possible. I know Gonzalez is doing microgrids. Have not heard about the whole grid.
jodifrediani
01:15:57
It may just be micro-grids, but PGE is a disaster, and we need alternatives.
Ami Chen Mills-Naim
01:18:24
Yes.

What about the other state lands?
Debbie Hencke
01:30:40
Public Works can’t even keep the local roads pot holes filled…Neither department updates their well/pump hookups with what is currently happening. Thanks for your thoughts.

Ami. Susan Mason here. Can you spell risk mgr last name for me? Dennis will be pleased.

It is quite well known by CalFire and by those working in communications in Bonny Doon that the obstacle to cell coverage is NOT the cell companies, but rather opposition from technically uninformed residents who believe that they are a danger to public health. Opponents to rebuilding of the tower destroyed by the fire that was the heart of the most capable ham radio emergency communications system have SUED to block the rebuilding. Neighbors have contributed generously to the rebuild, but much of that has gone to fighting neighbors hiding behind lawyers pressing these suits. So the question is, what would be your response to these tactics.
