Hi Jean -- will the e-mails sent to Commissioner Windon be read during the discussion time for the Noise discussion or do we need to ask to speak?
Jean Weisman Town Manager
We received more then 50 emails today, so I do not think we will be reading them. They have all been sent to all of the COSM, I will suggest that they be posted as a packet on the agenda page of the website for tonight's meeting.
After the commissioner’s discussion regarding the Noise Ordinance and during the time for public comment, if you would like to comment, please put your name and address in the chat to be recognized or raise your hand. We will call your name and ask you to unmute yourself. Please keep comments to 2 minutes.

Unfortunately I have to go but I do have a comment … I think Jamie and David make great points the key is “be better neighbors” … what about Thursday night band night? In Muskrat Park? That music is “amplified.” Bottom line I think we can all work together to come to an amicable solution that works for all.
If we’re talking trucks, I’m talking the 4 a.m. hour …
I have a comment. I will share here
I challenge the town to stick the current ordinance that they have. There have been 0 violations in 6 years that have had a citation issued! I am a former resident and I now go to St Michaels not just to visit friends
But to hear the music and enjoy the town. The moment that this is taken away on Sunday they will move on to Saturday Friday and the such
Who introduced the amendment to the noise ordinance? Was it generated based on residents complaints or an agenda of a specific commissioner?
Thank you for a civil and thorough discussion. I was under the impression that live music was to be banned on Sundays. I am happy to hear that this is not the case. It sounds like it will be resolved in a reasonable manner. When you are reviewing things, please keep in mind that most acoustic acts are still amplified, but not at the level that bands are. I say this so that the wording of things is clear and not left to interpretation. Again, thank you.
In case you can’t tell, we’re all about discussing early morning trucks in Hell’s Crossing.
i would like to address some of the comments on social media about Tad Dupont that is very inappropriate. I would think we all could work together.
Discussion of the noise ordinance is completed. Please feel forward to send your concerns to Jean Weisman, email@example.com.
I have a comment about the survey
You can make a QU Code to scan and people can use their own phones
I can explain if needed
Was there any resolution regarding the honeymoon bridge repairs?
I have another suggestion for the surveys.
I’d be happy to participate while doing the SMFD boot drive as well
