Don't know what "nel" is
Joachim Schneider
48:35
which buses for 400 000? 12 m?
George Carew-Jones
49:33
@Joachim - Nel is an hydrogen production/supply/storage provider based in Norway
George Carew-Jones
50:04
And 400k is the price for 12m standard city bus, but the same relationship applies to larger/smaller buses

The quality seems pretty bad. I can hardly hear anything. Is anyone else experiencing that?

I guess it is more a mic issue than a background noise

Found this article on Hydrogen use in aviation, may be interesting to some audience? https://www.einpresswire.com/article/525541788/first-international-hydrogen-aviation-conference-ihac-2020-3rd-sept-2020-virtual-closing-remarks

@George Carew-Jones. Where did you find this information that 400 k EUR is the 12m bus price, I thought it was mentioned that it is around 625-650 k EURO/bus. Can anybody correct this number please?
George Carew-Jones
01:41:03
@A Bove - this 400k figure for 12m is a forecast of prices on the scale of 100+ bus orders. Current market price for a single 12m bus is under 625k as shown by the JIVE 2 project
A Bove
01:42:57
@Thanks George Carew-Jones. There was a press release by Cateno bus that they sold 8 bus for 6.4m EUR which means ~ 800k/Bus. Under 625k must still be on multiple buses sales, any idea how much one 12m FCEB cost?
jens Conrad (RVK)
01:44:19
If I may - our Solaris buses we procure in course of the JIVE 2 project were around 600k €
A Bove
01:44:57
at jens Conrad- is this 600k eur/bus or multiple buses?
George Carew-Jones
01:45:00
@A Bove this Caetano cost would include add ons to the cost of the 'base bus' (things like USB ports, LED strip lighting, leather seating etc) which increases the price. The rationale for this is FCBs must be seen by users as a 'premium product' at first at least

@ Bove: It was a multiple bus order. How many buses are you planing to order?

01:48:53
We are just looking for one prototype. I found these guys selling very competitive pricing: https://fuelcellsworks.com/news/goldi-mobility-ready-to-take-pre-orders-for-zero-emission-fuel-cell-and-battery-powered-buses/

@ Jens and George- can you please provide your email so that we can ask for a quote on 1 FCEB?
George Carew-Jones
01:53:29
@A Bove feel free to email me on George.Carew-Jones@element-energy.co.uk and I can provide resources/advice etc
