In line with previous comment -- it's about how you use it, rather than the tech. I've been having this conversation with people about tech since 1996.
Christopher Donovan
24:06
We've been using Remo a bit. The concept is great, but they still have a lot of technical elements to smooth out.
Hilary Allen, Net Impact
24:18

Plus 1 for Mural!
Rei Champion
25:51
Yes, relatively easy to setup and it's very customizable. You can reposition yourself or use other virtual backgrounds
Rei Champion
26:38
@Stacy - You can also put yourself into a circle instead of the shape that SaraJoy has right now. You can change the view on the fly as well.
Jill Ultan, Skoll Foundation
26:45
We talked about magic coffee break moments in our breakout, so this resonates!

I saw Sustainable Brands used Hopin
Katharine Bierce, Salesforce.org
41:03
I tried it and it was nice - though the 1-1 networking bit didn’t have anyone in it when I tried to use it
Nancy Hammerman

Something I didn’t love about a hop.in event I went to last week was that the speaker couldn’t see participants in the main plenary and wasn’t getting that live visual feedback
Stacy Cervantes (She/We)
41:38
Myself and other industry colleagues had such a horrible demo experience (all at different times) how were you able to get over the lack of customer service to get the platform set up?
Hilary Allen, Net Impact
41:39
@nancy we are referring to Hopin, but I think there are other platforms offer it as well
Hilary Allen, Net Impact
43:04
+1 if anyone would like to have a call to discuss perks and cons of executing a hopin event. I have lots of feedback, and questions!
Nancy Hammerman
43:36
yes please I'd like to chat about Hopin @Hilary

A little hack for participant agency: if your group size isn’t too big and you have high trust with attendees, you can make them all co-hosts so they can move between breakout rooms as they wish
