What is the best way to ‘push back’ or continue the conversation when you think a BOE’s response to a problem isn’t sufficient?
Ginny Soldatis
48:01
The local BOE has ordered new voting machines from Dominion and the County Commissioners have refused to pay for them. The BOE is now suing the Commissioners to get the machines. How can I help asx a member of LWVAC
Ginny Soldatis

LWVCA
Mia Lewis
49:08
The counties can be competitive with each other. Telling them something is working well in another county, can be a way to get them to pay attention.
Rhys Price Jones
50:41
It’s not simply the machines. Some BOEs make far better use of machines that are not configured always in the best interests of the voter.
Paulette Olson
56:03
The main issue in Greene Co according to Lyn is the lack of space; they need a bigger building but that’s nothing the BOE can control. Is there a way to address that need from our end?
cynthianagy
56:24
Are there rules/regulations on how BOE’s are suppose to advertise their board meetings?
Mia Lewis
56:30
I think part of that is supporting them in their request for funding...
Collin Marozzi ACLU OH
56:43
BOE meetings are technically public meetings
