Is there any discussion from the Governor’s office about an executive order making standardized testing not mandatory this year? The option to reallocate the ~$50M contractor spending to Pearson could help school districts use that money in ways that help their students and districts during a time when standardized testing would not show accurate data.
Terry Kimber
59:46
We cannot afford another mid rescission like we had last year with all the issues we have as Aaron spoke to earlier.
Tia Mills - Gunnison Watershed
01:02:26
Well said Glenn. Thanks.
Ashley Stephen
01:26:36
Is there a tool available to help districts re-work the mill levy certification to include the credit portion based on when they debruced?
Ashley Stephen

:)

Do we start at 27, or where we were when we de-bruced?

It's unfortunate that the best part of 271for the majority passed. We'll need a new carrot to dangle.
Kathy Plomer
01:58:54
How do we get a bigger coalition? We had some new supporters but it did not seem to help us.
Tamara Durbin, Northeast BOCES, Executive Director

Another point of consideration is special education funding. Each administrative unit receives $1,250 for each identified student and this amount has not changed since 2006.
Jonna Levine
02:00:20
At the very least, this group - the education community needs to continue to share the same message that - we are headed for a cliff and EE didn’t fix it; & 116 didn’t give the people who needed the help the most any help at all. 116 gave earners at $50k about a yearly savings of $40 equal to 77 cents a week - can’t even use that at the Dollar Store.
