Hi Hazel, you should be able to see the panellists and everyone can listen in / watch
Please ensure your volume is not too high. Should be better now less on screen
It would be interesting to repeat this survey in the 1st/2nd week in June when other retail has reopened to see how the social distancing effects those areas and wether or not consumers confidence improves. I wonder if these "after" results would change.
809 people took part
The survey went out early May
It would also be interesting to drive down the demographics of the survey participants more. What the survey has shown is that many participants were eating out fairly often. This would insinuate that many of the participants of this survey have a higher than average amount of disposable income. It would be a concern then if this is the case that in actual fact, the results of the survey may be either a) being responded to by a section of the demographic which has income to spend on retail, hospitality and leisure or b) not responded to be a section of the demographic which doesn't have disposable income to spend. The very nature of the fact that the survey was commissioned by E-Factor/Business Hive automatically targets a demographic that would naturally be swayed towards a "business mind" rather than "the man in the street" approach. Hope you all follow my understanding.
Yes the results will be available on line after todays webinar. A link will be emailed to you.
The survey was sent out across many platforms and mostly completed by consumers, not targeted at business owners.
