MDAT Town Hall - The COVID Land Grab - Shared screen with speaker view
would love to know what folks are doing re: staff and/or providers with school kids this fall....
having difficulty w/staff when they have symptoms, get a test but have to wait until the results are negative to come back.....so far we've been very lucky and all have ended up being negative BUT it's a hardship in a small organization when we are short staffed like that. I feel like this is going to last for a really long time and I'm looking for creative ideas to deal with it - especially if it's a provider and we have to reschedule many patients.....
Governor put a pause on moving to the next phase until July 28th at the earliest.
Interesting that Kansas remains almost virus free?!
Is Kansas not reporting test results?
Atlanta is dealing with other huge social issues - not helping with needs of social distancing yet still important
I read an article that we cannot count on Herd Immunity. What are your thoughts?
Curious about the varied tests and reliability that are offered across the US since each geographic area has multiple vendors. That may account for the number of positives per test, too
Is the data biased due to other diseases contributing to death but happen to have COVID too?
We see viral videos, but I haven’t heard a health care organization getting pushback in Oregon from requiring patients to wear masks at their clinics? Is that what everybody is seeing?
I was told by nursing staff at my clinic that if you are asymptomatic you can still come to work. Does that mean if you aren't showing symptoms you cannot pass COVID along to others?
Tony, I heard from a friend in Longview, Wa a couple of weeks ago that they were having mask compliance issues and lots of issues in Montana, too.
we've had a couple - telemedicine usually takes care of it
Wear face shield instead to share smile.
We have had a lot of 'asks' for Dr. exemptions from wearing masks. Our providers will not authorize this for patients and we are losing people here and there. Anyone else having this problem>
we have signs up asking people to keep them on at all times unless their provider asks them to remove it
Some ADA exceptions, but overall no exceptions, reschedule when willing to wear one.
Utilization correlates to access and access is still limited. Insurance cost & premiums should go down.
A great website of short videos from the Crucial Conversations folks: https://www.vitalsmarts.com/crucialskills/category/how-do-i-say-that/
Any talk about additional PPP funds being made available to businesses that already had it during round 1 or 2?
Any chatter about tax forgiveness on the Cares money received.
would be nice if the Provider Relief Funds money isn't taxed
