Carolyn Coukos

These are very unusual times and most if not all local Leagues will have a hard time doing any fundraising. It will be difficult for local Leagues to fund their activities so the Cook County League should recognize this and not charge a PMP for the upcoming fiscal year.
Betty Hayford
01:24:53
Flat rate may not be fair because leagues vary widely in membership and resources
Cindy Grau
01:26:03
having reserves of that amount is something to discuss especially if you are becoming a 501(c)3
Joan Petertil
01:26:50
Maybe you could do a flat rate depending on member size.

01:27:11
while CCLWV doesn't have a staff, it does conduct business.
Judith McDevitt
01:27:27
In light of the circumstances, why not lower the fee to $1 PMP?

No one likes to do fundraising.
Marsha Borders
01:29:03
I think the CC league could skip the PMP this year in light of COVID19
arlenewagner
01:29:30
I agree with waiving the pop for another year
Lali Watt
01:29:50
Is Marsha making a motion to amend budget?
Jennifer Grochowski
01:30:07
Doen't a motion need to be made if there is a change?
Lali Watt
01:30:08
I hope she makes a motion
Connie Weissman
01:30:17

Michele Thorne

Michele Thorne
02:26:39
I urge the LWVCC Board - and league member boards - to support the effort to have the Cook County Board adopt “CEDAW” regulations. CEDAW is the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. The LWVIL and LWVUS support CEDAW!
Cindy Levine
02:27:49
Pleased to see the focus on upcoming elections. Would like to understand the work to be done, and how local leagues can support, efforts to reinforce needs around expected increased absentee voting
